The negotiation committee consists of the chief negotiator, 2 deputy chairpersons of whom one also chairs a negotiation team, 9 other chairpersons of individual negotiation teams and 6 additional members.

Facts on Iceland

Many Icelandic artists and bands have had success internationally, most notably the singer Björk and the band Sigur Rós.

The main music festival is arguably Iceland Airwaves, an annual event where Icelandic bands along with foreign ones occupy the clubs of Reykjavík for a week.
